Using Coyle Tool-Kit for CLIL (2010) I am going to stablish the language is necessary to acquire in this unit.

Language of learning
Language for learning
Language through learning
Grammar:
Present simple (To be mainly)
Passive voice in present simple
Comparatives
Vocabulary:
Names of mountains, rivers, lakes, vegetation, climates.
Cardinal points.
Landforms
Numbers
Key words:
steep, strait, fiord, sandy, wear away, estuary, navigable, mouth, scarce, shrub, steppe, sustainable
To improve their talking, some games will be used to compare rivers; to discuss about the different climates they will perform some presentations; they will do posters with the necessary grammar to use it the whole lesson.

Language necessary:
Geographic terms.
To acquire these terms they will make cards to play with their classmates.
These cards will be presented through the whole unit so they can use them whenever they don’t remember the vocabulary.
Using the posters with grammar and the cards they will create their support for learning the contents.

They know the use of Present simple so this unit is an opportunity to use it in context.
Every time there is a new sentence with new vocabulary they can reflect how and why the grammar is used.
To check their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary they will complete some multiple choice activities.
