According to Heather in the Amazing Effects of WALT and WILF (2011) when students know what we expect from them and it is crearly explained they will feel more relaxed and integrated in the task. WALT stands for "What I am learning to" and helps children to know what they are expected to learn in that unit or task. While WILF "What I'm looking" for gives the teacher the idea of what they need from their students to succeed in their learning process. "It promotes confidence that the task will be completed well and is much easier to assess either by pupils or teachers." (Heather, 2011).
